Indulgent Body & Bath specializes in natural handmade soap, body butters, solid lotions, lip balms, and other body products. We take pride in providing our customers with quality natural handmade products with only the best ingredients and offering some of the widest variety of bar soap available.
What you'll find in our products are pure & natural vegetable oils, nut oils, and butters. Most coloring comes from natural ingredients like fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices commonly found in many kitchens. Occasionally we will use naturally derived mineral oxides in coloring our products. Scents (when we use them) are essential oils or only the finest fragrance oils**. If you have very sensitive skin and cannot tolerate added scents, you'll find a great selection of unscented products with you in mind.
And, what won't you find in our soap? There are no detergents, no artificial preservatives, no hydrogenated oils, and no petroleum products. We do not use any artificial or synthetic ingredients, dyes, or chemicals. Unlike other "all natural" soap makers, our products do not have any ingredients like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, EDTA, Tatrasodium Editronate, Benzyl Benzoate, and FD&C Coloring. Do these sound natural to you? Be an informed buyer: read the ingredients.
We also do something a bit different with our soap than other sites; we do not use one basic recipe and then just add fragrances. Each soap has its own set of ingredients, properties, and personality that makes it unique from the others. All ingredients are posted with each product. We make all our soap products in our soap kitchen: handmade completely from scratch in small controlled batches - the old fashioned way in the traditional cold process method (we measure out all the oils carefully, mix with the caustic solution, blend well, process with other ingredients like scents or herbs, pour into molds, cut by hand and let air dry for 4-5 weeks before offering to you.) Our soap is not melt & pour; it is not purchased and then rebatched and remolded.
That's why our soap is in a category all its own. There really is no comparison between products made from scratch and other products you may find out there. Your skin will feel the difference and you will see and feel the difference in your skin.
