When nothing but a good beer will do; this is the page for you!
All of the soap on this page is devoted to the connoisseur of Beer..... the tops of the hops..... the shower lager meister..... Now is the time to pamper the beer lover in your house (yourself included!). Beer soap is a wonderful cleansing, lathering, and moisturizing experience...and a beer lover's dream come true. What an inconspicuous, unique way to add health supporting characteristics to your daily skin care regimen -- or celebrate a special occasion with someone's favorite beer in a bar soap.
Since beer is made with hops, the properties and benefits of hops become a skin blessing when used as the base for soap. Hops is known as a relaxing herb and that relaxing affect stays with the bar after going through the soap making process. Try soaping up after a hectic, stressful day. Takes relaxing with your favorite brew to a different level, doesn't it? Other benefits to Hops: soothes irritated skin; contains polyphenols thought to account for its anti-bacterial and preservative effects (beer's long life); contains skin-softening amino acids.
We use absolutely no artificial coloring or scents in our Beer Soap. All color and fragrance results strictly from the particular beer used as a base. Depending on the brewery, the amount and types of hops, malts, grains, fruits and nuts used in brewing the beer, each has its own signature light scent with a subtle, sweet undernote compliments of all of those beer ingredients. Don't worry, bathing with this soap will not leave you smelling like a brewery! This soap contains NO alcohol.
Try one; grab a 6-pack; or try them all. All of
our beer soap bars are big chunky rustic bars weighing between 5 and 6 ounces; $4.95. A six-pack special = buy 5, get one free: $24.75 This applies to one or any variety of the beer soap. A $4.95 refund will be issued after order is placed.
Beer, Egg & Honey:
This soap is a mild, protein rich bar that is good for body,
face and
hair - an all purpose bar of soap. Makes your skin feel moisturized and adds shine, bounce and body to your
hair. The proteins from the beer
malt and hops makes hair feel thicker, fuller and may even help repair
damage.
The well-known conditioning properties of beer and egg add to the cocoa
butter to provide plenty of moisturizing qualities as well. Honey hydrates
while it soothes the skin, hair and scalp. This bar
has such rich, creamy, bubbly lather, you may consider using it as a
shampoo. Great for taking on travel - one bar does it all and passes
through security in carry-ons. Ingredients: Amstel Light and Saponified
Oils of Soy, Coconut, Castor, Cocoa Butter, Palm, Palm Kernel, with Egg

Not Quite Pale Apricot: We
start with a base of a unique beer from the Magic Hat Brewery called
#9 (Not Quite Pale Ale), which they say has a secret ingredient: added
essence of Apricot. It's not such a secret ingredient for us: we
already know about Apricots - so good for the skin and gentle, too.
This beer called for a mild recipe with Apricot Kernel oil in the base,
so that's what we did. Ingredients: Magic Hat Not Quite Pale Ale and
Saponified Oils of Apricot Kernel, Olive, Coconut, Palm, Castor.
| Nut Brown Ale:
Another Samuel Smith beer using the same ingredients as the Samuel
Smith Oatmeal Stout - except, of course, the beer used as the base. The
base, Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale, is a brown walnut-colored beer with a
scent of hazelnuts and a specialty North of England. The brown ale is
one of the oldest English brewing styles. Lots and lots of malt and
hops gives this soap a creamy feel; makes your skin feel oh, so hoppin'
soft and smooth. (Corny, yes we know... but true.) |

| Oatmeal Stout: Samuel Smith is one of the few remaining independent breweries in England, and is the last brewery to utilize the a system of fermentation solely in stone squares. All Samuel Smith beers are vegan products, registered with The Vegan Society. Used as the base of this soap, with only vegetable oils makes this one heck of a vegan soap. The Oatmeal Stout Beer itself has an unusually silky texture and complex velvety smoothnes; you will notice this immediately imparted on your skin after using. Inhale the fresh scent all the hops and oatmeal give to this bar. Ingredients: Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout and Saponified Oils of Apricot Kernel, Soybean, Cottonseed, Coconut, Kokum Butter, Palm, Palm Kernel, and Castor. |
